We are a collective of filmmakers, photographers, and drone enthusiasts. We work playfully and collaboratively, with our clients success as our #1 focal point.
We service Vancouver, Victoria and the surrounding areas. We love to travel so projects have taken us far and wide across the globe.
We believe in working cooperatively, supporting our peers and our clients along the way. We are passionate about what we do, about our craft and about elevating our clients profile. We do this so we can all reach the top together.
THE FOUNDER
After completing a diploma in documentary film making in Scotland and then a bachelors degree in Film and Animation at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, David O’Brien worked in a number of animation studios in Vancouver, BC. Working on feature films for Nickelodeon as well as TV shows and broadcast.
With a penchant for striking imagery and an entrepreneurial mindset he was eager to work collaboratively alongside some of Vancouvers best. He’s produced, directed, shot and edited 1000’s of projects, working on top contracts from social media start-ups to international Surf Ski racing competitions (Surf what?!) and of course, a whole whack of weird and wonderful property marketing.
Evolve Media Collective is the culmination of 20 years experience in video production, a love of working with like-minded people and a passion for creative problem solving.
